Melanie Swinden‎ -- silence can hear wind propelling the stardust (( NO-RULE HAIKU ))

silence can hear
wind propelling
the stardust
  • You, Rajesh Joshi and Mridula Singh like this.
  • Dalvir Gill yeah, only silence can....
  • Elaine Andre How can I know this?
  • Dalvir Gill you never can, unless you fall silent......... LOL
  • Elaine Andre Hmmm, you copped out, with that one, Dalvir.
  • Dalvir Gill those who have it, more will be given. those who have less, even that will be taken away from them. debates are to win, and sometimes to lose, using logic. philosophy and logic are most useless near me. our scholarly papers/books don't tell us what that person knows about him/her self but only about the other scholars ... and how they are wrong.
  • Dalvir Gill so you confessing that all you were looking was/is to coop me in some sty? lol...... i'm not copping out or anything..... just don't want to miss a single chance of enjoying ant three-line poetry for the reason that it's according to my tastes, or not according to the taste of a few scholars, or most scholars, or all the scholars....
  • Melanie Swinden It's supposed to illustrate a moment and paint a picture for the mind to analyze, most often about nature, right? This was my first Haiku ever and I'm very happy you like it, Dalvir.
  • Dalvir Gill Melanie, seasoned haizen or first timer, doesn't really matters as long as the 'ku talks to me. and that's the only standard i know of, i go by. not just haiku or poetry any piece of art or ordinary object if it 'talks' to me is an art. ever feel the urge to pick a small pebble off the river-bed........ that kind of thing. it's a fantastic one for me. don't worry about rules. in the 'documents' of the group, please find a write-up by Jane Reichhold,"Haiku Rules that have Come & Gone". some people still stick with one or many, which according to Jane has 'gone'. don't worry about the critics, just continue to create and share, if it gives you happiness, that's the only RULE, if you check the 'about' of this group.
  • Dalvir Gill analysis comes from 'judging' and begets judgement. don't analyze life -- live. don't try to understand people -- love. don't interpret -- laugh!
  • Elaine Andre Have you noticed that your statements are pontifications on the topic?
  • Elaine Andre I was going to wait till morning to see if things got better, but there is no need. TTFN.
  • Dalvir Gill Basho lived, we turned into a dogma. how hard it's to turn my blabbings into one. that's what i say that i approach haiku to meet a person to enjoy. a scholar cannot a see a person, but only a set of rules, by living on them that person was formed. person is of secondary importance. i will replace life with haiku to ask a question, a rhetorical one,"Are rules for haiku or haiku for rules." i can never be brought to an agreement that 'form' of haiku is more important than the 'soul' of haiku. Soul doesn't have a form that can be shown, but only felt. what's TTFN? sounds like something scary .............
