Dalvir Gill ਧੀਦੋ ਬਾਈ ਜੀ, ਮੇਰੀ ਇਸ ਪੋਸਟ 'ਤੇ ਕੀਜੋ ਵਾਲੀ ( ਸਾਥੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਵਾਲੀ ) ਪੋਸਟ ਦਾ ਇਹੋ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ ਸੀ ( ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਹਿ ਸਕੋਂ "ਦਿਲਚਸਪ" ) !!
ਪਰ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਹਨ, ਸਾਡੀ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਣੀ, ਤੇ ਉਸਾਰੀ-ਅਧੀਨ ਸਮਝ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ?
ਜਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਝ ਚ ਫੇਰ ਬਦਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ ?
ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਬਾਸ਼ੋ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ l
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਕਲਾਸ ਵੀ ਦੇਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਹੈ l
ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗਵਾਦ ਤੇ ਰੂਪਵਾਦ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਓਹੋ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ?
ਇਸ ਗਰੁਪ 'ਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਿੰਨੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਜਾਂ ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਤਾਂ ਆ ਹੀ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਾਂ !l

ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਿਰਕੀ ਨਾ
ਪੰਜਾਹ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ
ਦਲਵੀਰ ਭਾਜੀ ਇਸਦੇ ਕਈ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਨ,
ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਜਪਾਨੀ 'ਚ ੫-੭-੫ 'ਚ ਕਈ ਕੁਝ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹਾਇਕੂ,ਸੇਨ੍ਰੀਊ ਅਤੇ ਜੱਪਾਈ ਆਦਿ . ਕੁਝ ਅਨੁਵਾਦਕ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ|
ਦੂਜੀ ਗੱਲ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਓਹੀ ਸਹੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਰੀਕੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਕੜ ਹੋਵੇ|
ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਿਯਮ ਗੰਧਲਾ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਣ|- Dalvir Gill Sra Bhaji, then it's finished already. Egg or hen, who was here first? Haiku and rules, what came first?

How can we define inclusively each and every example of such a tradition and exclude others? I suggest the only answer to both questions is 'We can't.'" (Presence 21 2003: 23).

Komo is reed matting or a rush mat.
In traditional Japan, a person's age increased by one year at the beginning of every new spring. Now Issa is fifty.
When I first read this haiku, I didn't grasp what Issa meant by having no "reed mat" (komo) over his head. Shinji Ogawa explains that this is an idiom for "never being a beggar."
He translates, "spring begins/ without being a beggar/ fifty years."
Issa's humor lies in the fact that he seems to be bragging about so little: that he has managed to stay at least one step above street beggars crouching under their mats when it rains.

Amarjit Sathi Tiwana ਹਾਇਕੂ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਬਾਰੇ:
ਹਾਇਕੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸੰਖਿਪਤ ਕਾਵਿ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੜੀ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਮੁਮਕਿਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਜਾਪਾਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ 100 ਫੀ ਸਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦੇ ਅਰਥਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਦਲ ਹੋਵੇ। ਜਾਪਾਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਪਣੀਆਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਹੋਰ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਮੇਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਪਣੀ ਸੂਝ ਬੂਝ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੁਝ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਲਈਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਜਾਪਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦੂਹਰੇ ਬਦਲ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੰਧਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਾ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਹੈ। ਬਾਸ਼ੋ ਦੇ ਹਾਇਕੂ old pond ਦੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵੱਖੋ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਪਾਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਅਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਫੇਰ ਵੀ ਵੱਖੋ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਹਨ। ਸੋ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਚੱਲਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੂਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਜਰੂ੍ਰ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
