ਜ਼ੈਨ ਦੀ ਸਟਡੀ ਕਰੋ ਤੇ ਹਇਕੂ ਦਾ ਇਮੇਜ਼ ਇਸਤਰ੍ਹਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਦਿਸੇ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਗੇਰ ਹੀ ਇਮੇਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਜ਼ੈਂਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕੀ ਹੈ?ਬੁਧਇਜ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਪਰਚਲਤ ਤੇ ਗਿਣਨਯੋਗ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕੋਈ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸੌ ਹੈ। ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਸਿਧ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀਂਨਯਾਨ ਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਯਾਨ। ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਹੀਂਨਯਾਨ ਬੁਧ ਦੀਆ ਅਸਲ ਟੀਚਿੰਗਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਯਾਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਬੁਧਇਜ਼ਮ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰ ਬਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿਚ ਫੈ਼ਲ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸਦੇ ਫੈਲਣ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਰਣ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੁਧਇਜ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਸਟੇਟ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਅਨੁਆਈ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ। ਇਸਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਗਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਹਾਯਾਨ ਦੀ ਉਤਪਤੀ ਛੇਵੀਂ ਸੈਂਚਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਈ।6th century CE as Chán. From China, Zen ।ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਇਹ ਦੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵਿਅਤਨਾਮ,ਕੋਰੀਆ ਤੇ ਜਪਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਫੈਲ ਗਿਆ।

ਬੁਧ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਚਿੰਗਜ਼(ਸਿਖਿਆਵਾਂ) ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜਾਤੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਿਧਾ ਝਾਕਕੇ ਅਭਿਵਿਅਕਤੀ (ਸੈਲਫ) ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਨਣਾ। ਇਸ ਜਾਨਣ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸਹਿਦੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਸੈਚੂਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਪਵਾਇੰਟ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੈਚੂਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਪਵਾਇੰਟ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੀ ਬਿੰਦੂ ਵੀ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਹਿੱਤ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਪੰਜ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਭਿਉਂ ਦੇਈਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਚੂਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਕ ਸਮਾ ਐਸਾ ਵੀ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਜਜ਼ਬ ਨਹੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਇਸਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੈਚੂਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਪਵਾਇੰਟ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸੋ ਇਸੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ ਹੀ ਇਨਲਾਈਟਨਮੈਂਟ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਰੌਲਾ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,ਦਾ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੱਦ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਕੇ ਜਗਿਆਸਾ ਵਧ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਨਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੋਮ ਇਜ਼ ਨੌਟ ਬਿਲਟ ਇੰਨ ਏ ਡੇ। ਸੋ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹਉਆ ਨਹੀ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਡਰਨਾ ਹੈ।

- Kuljeet Mann ਦਲਵੀਰ ਜੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ੈਂ ਪੀਪਲ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਇ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੋਰ। ਤੁਸੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਲੋਕਾ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੋ। ਪੂਰੇ ਭੂਗੋਲ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਣ। ਤੁਸੀ ਐਟੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਜੈਨ ਲੋਕਾ ਲਈ ਦਸਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਜ਼ੈਂਨ ਕਮਿਉਨਿਟੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਮੈ ਸੁਝਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਨਾ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਐਸਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਡੀਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟਿਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਡਿਲਿਉਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ। ਮੈਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਪੇਤਲਾ ਨਹੀ ਵਰਤਿਆ । ਪਤਾ ਨ੍ਹੀ ਕਿਉ ਦਿਲ ਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਗੇ ਲੈਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੌਖੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ੈਂਨ ਫਿਲਾਸਫੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੋ। ਹੁਣ ਤੇ ਇੰਝ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਖਰਬੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਾੜੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਆ ਵੜਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਧੀਦੌ ਗਿਲ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੋਤ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਪਾਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਿੱਲ ਨਹੀ ਹਨ।

A status/comment on some page of some group on some social net-working site doesn't really do much to alter that. In eastern traditions, Giyan, Bhagti etc. are tradition. Zen is an anti-giyan kinda thing. Dhido 22, you tell me what did I say wrong in my comment. If you all proove me as an idiot you think that's going to change a thing, or on the other hand all the "Heroes" of Punjabi Haiku have gained something by lauding praises on one another. Like I said in our phone conversation that it's possible to keep your state of mind beyond all the duality. "Harkh sog te niara" and the whole nine yard.
- Dalvir Gill Kuljeet, I don't define philosophy. I've begged it before that philosophy and logic are two worst things man had created, and, THAT IS the very reason that I 'like' Zen way of looking at things. Osho was a far better orator, all he has spoken is 70% on Zen.

- Dalvir Gill Kuljeet, you have always pre-concluded something about me and without missing a beat have said it. Check all the older posts, I've never strayed from the topic, not only that I never mix two threads either. When I see that at a certain thread there's nothing left for me and the talk can not return to the main topic I'd just say "Ciao" or on this page maybe"Sayonara" We should talk over the phone or better still, talk in person, that way when ever Ill get off track you can bring me to bay. :))
- Kuljeet Mann ਦਲਵੀਰ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਾਸ ਕਿਉ ਨਹੀ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੀ। ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਤੁਸੀ ਗਾਹੇ ਬਗਾਹੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਦੋਂ ਮੈ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ। ਫੇਸਬੁਕ ਦਾ ਅਕਾਉਂਟ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ। ਕਦੇ ਕਦੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਵਾਰ ਨਹੀ। ਕਿਉਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਦੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ। ਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਖ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਫੋਕਸ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਦੋਂ ਉਹੋ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰੀ ਪਲੈਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਾਂ ਇੰਝ ਵੀ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਫਰਕ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹੋਣਾ ਵੀ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਹਰਜ਼ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ।ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦ ਬਜਾਤੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਕੰਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਝੀਆ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਨਹੀ। ਮੇਰੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਰਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਣੀ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੱਜਕਲ ਮੈਂ ਗਦਰ ਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾ। ਫਿਲਸਾਫੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਟੂਲ ਵੀ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਰਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਜ਼ੈਂਨ ਤੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ। ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦਸੋ ਕਿ ਗਿਆਨ ਤੋ ਬਿਨਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੈਂਨ ਦਾ ਕਿੰਝ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਗਿਆ। ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਤੁਸੀ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਸਕਾਲਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਹੋਰ ਗਿਆਨਿਨ

- Dalvir Gill No Kuljeet, letting go of that knowledge is that worked. Please don't take it wrong way, but read some Zen stories ( hardly 20 minutes job for you ) and Koans ( Can't give the time frame for this one as one needs only one Koan to work on oneself and all the fears, anxieties and depressions just evaporate away. I'm not saying you need for any of those reasons, just it's always good to know someone/something first hand.
