Dhido Gill ਦੇਵਗਨ ਜੀ....ਇਹ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਮਹਿਜ ਇੱਕ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਹੈ , ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ...ਪੰਛੀ ਦੀ ਉਡਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਪੀਲੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਦਾ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਪੱਤਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਣਾ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਜਖਸਟਾ ਪੋਜ ਹੋਕੇ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਹੀਣ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ....
Raghbir Devgan ਧੀਦੋ ਜੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਘੁੰਮਣ ਜੀਵਨ ਰੂਪੀ ਪੰਛੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ..ਮਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਈਂਦਨ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ ..- Raghbir Devgan I am not the writer of this haiku, I told you what I understand rest if Rajinder Singh Ghumman could shed light on this to help us will be appreciated.

ਮੈ ਅਸਲ ਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ....
ਪਤਝੜ ਦਾ ਮੌਸਮ ਸੀ ....ਪੀਲੇ ਪਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ਰੁੱਖਾ ਤੋ ....ਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਕ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸੀ .... ਫਿਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ dead body ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ...ਉਹਨਾ ਵੱਲ ਗਿਆ ... ਫਿਰ ਮੈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਚੁਪ ਚਾਪ ਗੱਲਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਸ਼ ਦੇਖਦਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ....ਸੋਚਣ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ dead body ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀ ਸਾੜਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਉਸ dead body ਦੀ ਚਮੜੀ ਝੁਲਸ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ....ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾੜਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਸਗੋ ਦੱਬਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ .... ਅਗਲੇ ਹੀ ਪਲ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕੇ ਦਬਨ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੀੜੇ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦਬਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਸਾੜਨਾ ਹੀ ਚੰਗਾ ....ਹੁਣ ਕਿਹੜਾ dead body ਨੇ ਸੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨਾ ....ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋ ਤਾ ਸੋਚਣ /ਸਮਝਣ/ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ /ਦੁਖੀ / ਪੀੜ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੰਛੀ ਤਾ ਉੱਡ ਚੁਕਾ ......... ਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਮੈਨੂ dead body ਵੀ ਪੀਲੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੀ ਲੱਗੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਭਾਵੇ ਰੁਖ ਤੋ ਵਖਰਾ ਹੋ ਚੁਕਾ ਪਰ ਇਹਨਾ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਤਿਆ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਰੁਖ ਦੇ ਵਡਾ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ......ਬਸ ਏਹੋ ਊਲ-ਜਲੂਲ ਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਸ਼ ਸੋਚਦਿਆ .....ਮੈ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਕੁਸ਼ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਇਹ ਹਾਇਕੂ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਤਾ ....
ਬਾਕੀ ਠੀਕ ਜਾ ਗਲਤ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਇਹ ਤਾ ਦੂਜਿਆ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਦਸਣਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ....

- Dalvir Gill Dhido Gill ji, contrast can be considered as well, but here it's not so. What you see as the death of a leaf is just continuity of life. Death of one form is the birth of another form. In the flight a bird also "leaves" the tree to continue his journey.

- Dalvir Gill this one comes close to a Hokku, not just a good Haiku. I could never develop Hokku instincts but haiku comes naturally to me, I look at life like that. Death and Birth are not two for me. I can find haiku-esque in everything. With a negating attitude one can discard all the Hokku by even Basho himself. Do you know that Basho never wrote any haiku. Haiku was started by Shiki. ACCEPTANCE is the key.

- Dalvir Gill Dark-light, high-low, death-birth aren't two. The Zen/Tao.Tantra journey is coming back to your own self. One doesn't need to learn but unlearn, unlike some philosophy where one needs to learn, remember and then stick with that "knowledge" even when the objective reality is against it, which in turn, screws everything as objective and subjective aren't two either.

Same way you feel a desperate need to "understand" life in a dualistic way, I love to "live". Yes light and dark are just polarities on the same scale. get a color scale and that will tell you that anything approaching 001 is called white and that doing 999 is called black. I understand your side of thought ( even Marxism ). I don't call it right or wrong, it just is. If you haven't experienced something doesn't make anything nonexistent or stupid. And again, stupid and smart aren't two. Just to consider your own idea as a smart one, of course you will like to call the seemingly opposite idea as stupid, which is laughable.
